Repeat Prescriptions
Change in our repeat prescription procedure
Due to current legislation we now require at least 24 hours notice for repeat medication.
When you require additional medication please telephone the surgery before 12.00 noon on the day before you wish to collect the medication. Depending on stock availability, drugs ordered on a Friday may not be available for collection until Monday (Tuesday at Chagford) and drugs ordered on Saturday may not be available until Tuesday.
Normally we will dispense 1-2 months of medication at one time, however if you wish to purchase sufficient medication to cover up to 3 months of treatment we are happy to accommodate this request providing this will not exceed the date on which your animal is next due to be seen.
Unfortunately we are unable to re-stock or make a refund for any drugs dispensed if the treatment regime or your pet is changed. However, if you wish to return any unused drugs to the surgery we are happy to dispose of these drugs with our other clinical waste in accordance with the legal requirements.
