Digital Radiography
In 2006 we upgraded our x-ray facilities to include a digital x-ray processor and special floating top table.
The digital processor allows us to develop x-rays quickly and safely, without chemical waste. The images can then be viewed on a computer screen and manipulated to get the best image. If necessary images can be sent, via email or cd, to a referal vet for specialist assessment. Results are often reported the same day enusuring a fast diagnosis of your pets condition.
Xray images can be viewed in consulting room 3, so that the vet can discuss the images with you as owners.
The moving top table is a valuable addition making it possible to position large animals for radiography much more easily.
